HireLens is a free community service. By using it, you agree to these terms. Trust scores are community opinions, not legal guarantees.
By accessing or using HireLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including those who browse, submit content, or vote.
HireLens is a community-powered job verification platform that helps job seekers evaluate the trustworthiness of LinkedIn job posts. Trust scores and community votes represent the collective opinion of our users — they are not legal determinations, professional advice, or guaranteed facts. Always conduct your own due diligence before applying to any job.
You agree to use HireLens only for lawful purposes. You must not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content about any job post or company. You must not attempt to manipulate trust scores through vote farming, bot activity, or coordinated inauthentic behavior. You must not use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual, recruiter, or organization.
When you submit a LinkedIn job post URL or related content, you confirm that the content is publicly available and that you have the right to submit it. You grant HireLens a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use the submitted content to operate the platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.
Votes cast on job posts represent your genuine, personal assessment of that post's authenticity. You agree not to vote on posts for any purpose other than sharing your honest opinion. We use browser fingerprinting to prevent duplicate votes — this is anonymous and no personal data is collected or linked to your votes.
HireLens is provided 'as is' without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our trust scores are accurate, complete, or up-to-date. We make no warranty that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of malware. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireLens and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform. This includes any financial loss resulting from decisions made based on our trust scores or community votes.
The HireLens platform, including its design, code, branding, and scoring methodology, is the intellectual property of its creator. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. Job post content submitted by users remains the property of its original authors.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to HireLens for any user who violates these terms, engages in abusive behavior, or attempts to manipulate the platform's integrity. We may do so without prior notice.
These Terms of Service are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from the use of HireLens shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings are initiated.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of HireLens constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
